Parent Information

The focus of our department is on providing an appropriate education for all children with special needs. Parental involvement is essential in developing Individualized Education Plans, IEPs, for children that have a disability. Susquenita School District has developed programs to meet the needs of all of our students. Our programs include Learning Support, Emotional Support, Autistic Support, Life Skills Support, and Multiple Disabilities Support classrooms. We also provide the following related services: Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and several other supports that meet the specific needs of our students.

We have provided various links that will assist you in learning about specific disability categories or training opportunities. We will be updating this periodically with new sites and information to help you with educational decisions for your child. If you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
