Susquenita Athletics Spotlight!!
Congratulations to our Field Hockey team and it's coaching staff for qualifying for the District III A Playoffs. A ten win team that showed tons of grit and determination. Madeline Hippman and leading goal scorer, Regan Horting were also chosen as first team members of The TVAA All Star Team. Way to go girls!
This fall, our girls soccer team exceeded pre season league expectations. Coach Steffen and staff guided our girls to 6 wins and qualified for the TVAA Post Season Playoffs for the first time in program history. Madison Blyler was chosen as a 2nd team selection to represent Susquenita as a TVAA all star. The tandem of Susquenita and Newport girls wearing black and orange is slowly starting to bring the energy and excitement back in our girls soccer program!
In 2017 our girls won the inagural unofficial TVAA championships held at Susquenita.
Our Cross Country team and qualifying members travel to Big Spring this weekend for the District III A/AA Championships. We would like wish all of our runners luck as they embark on the road to states!

Susquenita School District is a member of the Tri-Valley Athletic Association and District III of the PIAA. Many opportunities present themselves for athletic participation by the student body. Each student is urged to take part in some phase of the athletic program. Sportsmanship and character development are stressed over winning, although we always try to win fairly. Every member of each team should consider it an honor to represent SSD in athletic contests and must accept the responsibility of conducting himself/herself according to the strictest rule of training and sportsmanship.
The interscholastic program at SSD consists of the following sports: football, wrestling, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' track & field, boys' and girls' cross country, baseball, boys' and girls' soccer, field hockey, softball, boys' and girls' tennis, and cheerleading.
