Susquenita School District works together with The Nutrition Group (a food and facilities management company founded in 1975) to provide a well- balanced nutritious meal for all students of every grade level. The Nutrition Group also offers a catering menu for any onsite special event you are interested in having professionally catered.

Free Meal Distribution for Students and Community
Just a friendly reminder, Susquenita is continuing to participate in the USDA free meal program in which all community members, 18 years of age and younger, are eligible to receive free meals.
ALL interested participants, including in-person learners participating in weekend meal distribution, MUST complete our SSD Meal Distribution Survey. A separate survey must be filled out for each child participating in the program. For example, if you have two children, you must fill out the survey twice. This allows us to fully prepare the appropriate number of meals.
For community members and remote learners, the deadline to complete the survey is Monday at 11:00 am each week. For in-person learners, the deadline to complete the survey is Wednesday at 11:00 am each week.
Community members, as well as our remote learners, will recieve a distribution that includes seven breakfast selections and seven lunch selections to cover the weekdays and weekend. Community members and remote learners may pick up their meals every Wednesday evening from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm outside of the elementary school building.
In-person learners will receive their weekend meals, which will include two breakfast selections and two lunch selections, on Friday. Elementary and middle school students will be handed their meals, and high school students are asked to pick up their meals at the HawkShop.

The Susquenita School District has completed the process of migrating PowerLunch and MySchoolBucks student accounts to a new system called SchoolCafe. All student funds remaining from last school year have been transferred to accounts within the SchoolCafe system. SchoolCafe is now available for parents/guardians to deposit funds and monitor student meal accounts and you may create an account here: https://www.schoolcafe.com
You may also still fund your child’s account by sending, checks or cash into school with your student. Please be aware, if you decide to fund your child’s account through SchoolCafe by means of a credit card, there is a 5% convenience fee that the company applies.
