American Rescue Plan (ARP) Funding

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was signed into federal law on March 11, 2021. The Act, which totals $122 billion, provides Pennsylvania with $4.9 billion in emergency funding to support education recovery that is needed as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Per the federal Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, ARP funds "are provided to SEAs and LEAs to help safely reopen and sustain the same operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation's students."

Susquenita School District has received $2,102,615 in ARP funds. This amount was calculated based on a formula from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). These funds may be used through the 2023-2024 school year.
