About the District
Susquenita School District services a student
population of 2,000 in three centralized buildings
clustered on a scenic campus set against forested
mountains and separated by spacious lawns. One
large elementary building houses students in
grades K-4, the middle school houses grades 5-8,
and the high school contains grades 9-12.
Susquenita School District is located in scenic
Perry County in south-central Pennsylvania.
Conveniently located, the area is 20 minutes from
Harrisburg, the state capital; 40 minutes from the
resort town of Hershey; two hours from
metropolitan Philadelphia; and two hours from Baltimore, Maryland. We take our name from
the two great rivers running through our District, the
Susquehanna and the Juniata.
