  • Guest Teacher Program
The Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) will be hosting a Guest Teacher Training Tuesday, January 28th – Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Upon completion of the course, Guest Teachers will be able to apply for an emergency permit through the PA Department of Education, which will allow them to be a substitute teacher in the schools and/or districts the CAIU serves.

Note: The Guest Teacher Training is designed for those who would like to substitute in more than one/several districts. If you are interested in only subbing in one particular school/district, please check with that school/district to determine what its specific requirements are for being a substitute.
